I have a 69 Charger. Fresh 440 and 727 Tranny. Problem: Goes great in 1st and 2nd gear, but you gotta monkey w/the shifter as the cars moving to get 3rd. But this doesn't seem to happen all the time(hangs in 2nd). Any ideas?

Fluid level and transmission linkages (including the "kickdown") are all correct?
