Ever get to meet him though? 

He did a free workshop at Robbie's Music on Rte. 17 in Mahwah once. I went, even though I play drums, I thought it would be cool to see him play. He didn't play that day, apologized that his arthritis was bothering him, but he talked to everyone & signed autographs.

Here's a photo of the autographed photo & a 45 RPM record of his I found at a garage sale for $1.

The Les Paul is definitely one BAD ASS git-fiddle, but I'll stick with my flying V's.

Thought you might enjoy some pics of my 'Pauls, since you're a guitar fan. First one is a Custom Shop Classic, one of 25 made authorized by Gibson.
Second one is just an Epi base model, but signed by Ozzy. Yup.

I have a 3rd, which is an '82 Custom I've had since new. Oh yeah, looks exactly like Randy's.

I have never met him. There are kids in my grade that shovel his driveway in the winter and live next door to him. They say he doesn't really live in a big house, and people say his hates Fender. Robbie's closed down.

Any idea how long it was closed? Had to be fairly recent, I drove past several times over the last few months & always saw cars there. They had a store in Rockland County in a strip mall on Rte. 59, but I haven't been through there in awhile.

Those are beatiful Les Pauls! Do you have any pics of the 82? Ive always wanted a Les Paul. I was gonna buy a wine red Les Paul Studio and I am probally going to one day....

Is that a Gibson or a Epiphone? It looks alot like a Gibson but the headstock looks like it might say Epiphone. Heres my best girl.....Jackson RR3 (blue one) and my other Jay Turser RR V Copy (black one)

Gibson.  It's a tough one to photograph too.  The color is actually an iced tea not that orange look and the top has a fine pinstripe flame all the way across it.
