I am getting ready to paint my 73' Rally and I am having a difficult time with taking the door handles off. :scratchchin:
Do you have to take the windows out to get to the bolts? There has to be an easier way. I do not want to mask them off , I would rather take them off.
Thanks Mopar buddies. :2thumbs:

No need to remove glasses. enough get it raised.

they are 2 nuts on back... 7/16" as far I can recall right now

of course unlink the rod what runs up latch. use a plastic clip that needs to be spinned and then rod pulled off

Nacho,
How do you get to the bolts? Seems that the door window is in the way when it is rolled up or down.  :rotz:

Leave the window up and get a wrench up in there.  You wont be able to see much, but you can feel around and find it.  Ive changed them out several times...

:iagree:

no bolts. Handle baseplate has studs so you will remove nuts

Did it a couple times just like they said and it was not hard at all.
