Made it home about 8:00 CDT. Covered 2622 miles and burned 205 gallons of fuel.

Quite the experience. More details that I can get into now.

Charger pretty much performed flawlessly. No mechanical issues other than a faulty temperature sending unit, and the passenger side wiper linkage popped loose.

Drove in some very adverse conditions. Lots of rain and traffic jams. Temperatures ranged from the low 50s in Racine, to upper 90s in Memphis.

Made a few passed down the drag strip as well.

We're already talking about next year (Little Rock, AR to Madison, WI).

Now it's time to crash. I'm wasted.

Is that white 69 in your signature pic your car? I've been checking on this board for a while now and have just signed up because of that car. It looks great and I was wondering if you could tell what wheels it has and if you have any more pics. I think some like those would look good on my 68.
Cheers!

Matt.

I've got to pull all my timeslips, but I did a 13.1 @ 109 at Union Grove with about 500 lbs of gear in the trunk. Track and weather conditions were great. Only did one run there, walking it out with a lazy 2 second 60 ft. In hindsight, I should have made a few more passes there.

Got to Memphis and it was in the mid 90's and the track was greasy with no prep. I made three mid 13 second passes, all with horrible 60 ft times. MPH was down too. I wanted a 12 second pass, but my MPH dropped every run as it got hotter, so I called it quits. Had fun just the same.

I've got a video from Memphis I'll post later.

Edit:

Here's a video link. It may be a bit before it goes live. Special thanks go out to FM3AAR from Moparts for recording it.

Matt,

Those wheels and tires are long gong. I need to update my sig pic. I now run 15" Torq Thrusts.

FWIW, they were 275-50-17s on 17x9 and 255-50-17s on 17x8s. Wheels were Hot Wheels "Sixty-Eights" and tires were Nitto NT450s.

CB,

It will take a bit for that link to go live. YouTube says a few minutes, but it's usually a few hours.
