Does anyone know any tricks to centering the trunk lid on a 68? Mine is too far toward the passenger's side. It's really close to the quarter panel and the gap on the driver's side is too wide. There seems to be a lot of room to adjust by loosening the bolts and moving the trunk lid around, but that doesn't do anything for the side-to-side adjustment. Anyone else run into this problem, or am I the only one? Could I adjust the latch to force the lid over to the left when it's closed? Thanks

I had the same problem. If you play with it, you can get the side to side adjustment by pulling the side you want to open the gap up on out a little bit. So say it's too far toward the passenger side and too far away from the driver side. In that case, you should pull it out of the hinge a bit on the passenger side. I don't know if that makes sense. . .
