Why do people do this with their car at a car show? This is silly.

I have noticed for the past few years, in my neck of the woods at local car shows, that many non- Mopar owner's put these stupid little creatures by their rides.
What is the deal?. I was going to ask the owner of this car but he could not be found. Is it like a muscle car troll or something? It just looks kinda' tacky and weird.  :Twocents:
I really want to kick one of these or blow one up with a M-80! :yesnod:

I should buy one of those and take it to a show. But instead of leaning it up againest the front bumper, put it under the front of the car with its feet sticking out making it look like it got driven over :D

Why? Don't know. Who sells these things or are they home made?

to me it looks that he's taking a leak over the front bumper. How put such an ugly thing next to his car  ???

There all always silly presentations, There is a guy near me that takes a PT Cruizer to local shows I sware it takes hours to set up and he has several different themes.  4th of July he has an uncle sam doll about 4' tall, he has a palm tree for a tropical set.  There is a guy with a big Chevy 4 wheel drive, who shows it with some rubber testicles hanging from the tow hitch.

Years ago I had this buddy Joe that had one of those kid things in his living room. His girlfriend thought it was cute and bought it at a craft fair. Joe had a poker party and were pretty blitzed. Joe put the doll up when all his money was gone and lost it. So, the winner had this idea that seemed cool at the time. Sober it wouldn't have been so funny. It was evening and people were walking down at street level outside of the apartment. He hung the doll out the window like it was half hanging out of the window. We were three floors up and a little crowd of people gathered below and were yelling up, so one of the other guys bumped it out and everyone below freaked out! There was a woman crying and everything.

bull

It's pretty odd IMO. I would rather just pull a couple lawn chairs and a cooler out of the trunk instead of making such a big production out of it.

Big Lebowski

Ya but don't kick him, since it really could be a real midget pissing on the car, but since it's a pontiac...no big deal, pee in it. :D.

how many coyote's has everyone seen perched behind the wheel of a roadrunner?

The Mopar crowd has the same tasteless gay element as the other brand.

Well if you was forced to wear that hat and ride in that to the show what would you do?

Answer: Hide my Face

Ghoste

At least I can make a connection between a Road Runner and a Coyote.  Even my 7 year old daughter understands why they go together.  What the hell does a stuffed midget hiding its face on the cars bumper have to do with... have to do with... well, what does it have to do with anything??

:scratchchin: Yep, I wondered the same thing, so I asked. A popular thing at craft shows, I guess. They are called "time out" kids. They are supposed to be kids that misbehaved & got sent to the corner for a "time-out". It's good when the GM, Fords or ricers have them because they need sent to the corner for a time out for owning one   :2thumbs: :smilielol: :hah:

Brock, that's the second pic of that car tonight.  Did you get one of the special invite tours or just nip them off the site?

Brock Samson

well it started with the larger wheel size on the third gen thread,..
i am planning to do the rr in that candy tangerine much like this one and have slightly larger rims on tires that are tucked up into the body,..
then i was researching the latest dino finds as i do every few weeks & i found the giant road runner that was discovered in china,.. so, i started looking for the ads that have the giant road runners in them and made a thread out of it on off topic,..
then Chris took offense to the fact there were three different road runners on that thread,..
then i realized looking at the pics in the thread that took me forever to find that this pic suited this thread... and Volia!  :icon_smile_wink:

Ghoste

Well, all of that makes a lot more sense than the need to put a cry baby on your bumper at a car show.  :icon_smile_big:
