If my boy, O.J. could do the time, then Paris should too

That's the trouble, that lowlife is guilty as hell and got away with murder, that is just wrong.   :eyes: :eyes:

What do you mean, the jury found him innocent....?....??   :shruggy:                                                          :rotz:

They said she will probably only end up with 18 days total with good behavior. If it was Joe Average, they would have had 6 months with Bubba as a cellmate. She is 25 years old and she was crying to her Momma. Geeez she needs to grow up.She acted like she was being put away for 20 years.

I'm sure if it was you, you would be crying for mommy too.  I know I would

Troy

I'm not so sure I'd be begging for mommy's help. Remember the first court appearance?
QuoteAs a city prosecutor said during closing arguments that Hilton deserved jail time, Hilton's mother, Kathy, laughed. When the judge ruled, Kathy Hilton then blurted out: "May I have your autograph?"

When a reporter asked what she thought of the judge's decision, a visibly angry Kathy Hilton responded: "What do you think? This is pathetic and disgusting, a waste of taxpayer money with all this nonsense. This is a joke."

...

Hilton had arrived at the Metropolitan Courthouse 10 minutes late and ignored screams of photographers as she swept in with her attorneys, mother and father, Rick Hilton.

Total disrespect. I'd have doubled the sentence just for that. Perhaps that's why I'm not a judge... ;)

FYI: a DUI here in Ohio carries up to a 1 year jail sentence and a 1 year license suspension (automatic). She pleaded down the DUI to a reckless op charge after failing the sobriety test. However, driving under suspension carries up to a 6 month jail sentence and she got busted twice for that. So, three charges since September? Believe me, a good lawyer can do wonders and I'm sure the Hiltons have the best (three actually) so if she's still getting stuck with jail time then there's probably some evidence out there that was put under wraps the first time. The Hiltons and their lawyers know this which is why they didn't follow through with the appeal they promised.

Regardless of that, I'm sure it's the system that's out to screw them... :blahblah: :coocoo:

California taxpayers are burdened enough.  How much do you think it will cost the taxpayers to house miss princess hilton?  Yes, she is spoiled and has she has no respect, but if she was to die in prison then will the whole country mourn her like the did Anna Nicole Smith?

Troy

The cell was empty before she got there and the guards have to be there either way. It can't cost that much to feed her for a month. I'll donate it to the state of California if they're that hard up for cash. I have no sympathy for self-important people.

The whole country isn't mourning for Anna Nicole Smith either.

I have no pity for her. She is a person who committed a crime just like anyone else. Why should her money, family or social status have anything to do with it. This is why we have so many offenders. The rich get away with it and the common people look at them and are star struck and think it's ok.

Poor Paris. Famous people with money arent supposed to be in county lock up. This is just wrong.

I understand Paris has retained Senator Ted Kennedy to be her career advisor after she's been released from jail.

When she asked the Senator how she'd get around the stigma of being "born with a silver spoon in her mouth" convicted criminal, Senator Kennedy replied that they'd cross that bridge when they came to it.

:violin: Mourn Paris Hilton and Anna Nicole? That would almost be funny if you weren't trying to be serious.

Ghoste

I almost wish she would die in prison, then the whole stupid soap opera that she is somehow able to pass off as an extremely important event that we all need to know about, would finally be over.

Not Shelby either. I'll let shelby comment on this herself.

"Being in jail is by far the hardest thing I have ever done," [Hilton] said in the statement.

The hardest thing she's ever done? Really? What about that time her mascera ran before being seen by the paparazzi? Or the time she got her heel stuck in the drain outside Saks Fifth Ave.? Or the time she couldn't find room to store her 80 new pairs of shoes? Or the time the battery died on her cell phone? Or...?

Well, despite her bad behavior, wealth and celebrity status, you have to admit she looks pretty good for being 77 years old.  Look at the D.O.B on the mug shot.    Bob
