door latch and striker replating

Hey gang..
Does anyone out there know of a company that replates the latch and strikers on our '66-'70 b-bodies?

By the way, what is the plating on those components? Zinc?

Hi Troy,
The striker on the door jamb should be silver zinc plated, along with the screws.
The door latch should be gold cad plated. I've seen the screws either silver zinc, but mostly they are gray/black phosphate plated.

we have a local place that manufactures latches and hinges do our plating. and as Bill said on the colors silver strikers gold latches . ..............by the way we can handle it for you if you would like just pm me and ill give ya my phone #

I'm having my original outside door handles replated as well...... The "NOS" ones you get now are slightly different... It's cool to know my originals will be done....... There's a good place here in Houston that takes care of pewter/potmetal pieces.. I'll post when I get them back.. Also taking my taillamp housings, trim and wing-window support and guide.....
