Finally got those Bronco wheels off. I got these magnums off of craigslist. They're a little beat up, but for the price I couldn't pass them up. Got them mounted with some BFG Radial T/As. It seems to handle a ton better.

Thanks guys. I'm really happy with how it looks now. I'm hoping to finish up with the dents and shoot it with primer soon, but not before I swap the cam, install my disc brake kit from ssbc and get my power steering re-seal kit. Its really fun when it starts to seem to come together. Its finally running dependable (starts up like a champ even after sitting a few days). I need to change out the rods and jets and do some more fine tuning now that the kinks are worked out to get max power, but I'm waiting till we move back to Tucson, AZ on june 10th, since the elevation will cause me to change them anyways. I had a blast driving it home from the tire shop today.  :drive:

I think I've made pretty decent progress during the 4 months I've had it. I got it non running with two blown front tires. It also didn't have any ignition switch, or keys for any of the locks. I've just now started to work on the body a little bit (so far just the front fender). The most frustrating part so far was trying to get the drivers front wheel off. It was blown and the last owner didn't know that the studs were left hand thread (so the lugs were stripped BAD). I had to remove the wheel with the drum on and drill the studs out from the back and chisel/hammer them out from the back. Thanks for the compliments.

more like 10,000,000,000 times nicer! That car is looking better and better every day! Way to go!

terrible one

That looks great man. Seriously, every time I would look at your car my eyes would immediately go to the Bronco wheels and it totally took away from your car. The Magnums look great, and as others have said, the car looks a billion times better.

Hopefully I can get the oil leak fixed on the current motor in my Charger by the time you get back in town and we can cruise.  Looks nice Scott.

In that picture, it's hard to tell that the fender was ever rolled under....

Great progress!

Magnums look a lot better than the Broncos. Good job!
