It is exactly what I want in a 500. B5 blue, black interior, and a 4 speed. Okay so its what my wife wants color wise, but what I want tranny wise. And the best part would be its not numbers matching, which means you could have fun with the car, after your fix it up.

Hi wing car guys. I've got a 69 500 SE, F3 green with green interior, it is in a million pieces, but all the important stuff is there. I bought it with the intentions of making it into a Daytona, I figured half the work is already done, but now I'm not so sure. Danny and I have talked about the car at length and I keep teetering on fence about selling it or if I keep it, which direction I want to go. It is a factory a/c car, which obviously would be way off base for a Daytona, but my earlier position was "Hey, it's my car, if you don't like it, walk away" But now I'm thinking I should just build a clone from a-z and preserve what mother mopar contracted out. I need thoughtfull opinions on this one guys. The car is very solid (even the back window plug is pristine) I have an nos quarter for the left side (banged and patched years ago) and needs small sections of trunk floor and lower quarter skin on rt rear, no inner panels have rust and the floor is perfect. I don't have the matching engine or trans (440 auto on floor).XX29L9B23XXX.

The fender tag reads like this:
N85 R22 V88 26 G11 G33 H51 J25 M21 M31 AO1 AO4 A11 B51 C16 C55 F3 F3 CRG F8 CO4 925497 E86 D32 and the VIN. The roof has the two little tiny holes on each side of the "c" pillars for the se emblem, woodgrain dash, rocker moldings, a/c etc. I still have the back window and trim, 1mph strips, vin, fender tag, trunk lid (very nice) but I got the car with no front clip. I have 69 charger parts for the front, but don't have the 500 filler pieces or correct grill with the stand-offs. Danny would probably like the car if I put it back together, but if I do all that, I'll probably want to keep it. I just picked up an original A12 bee so now I have that project staring me in the face too. This sickness is going to kill me. I'm not posting here to advertise the car for sale, I just need some educated opinions from the guys that have been in love with these cars for the past 35 years. I used to ride in Rick Edward's bird when I was younger, been around these my whole life, but now with a gang of kids and too many cars, I just don't know what to do. Come on guys, gimme some

Ok thanks .Thats one of Lou's' old cars .I talked to many years ago when he was looking for a wingcar .He had a purple 70 hemi super bee.Whats he got in cars nowadays I wonder.I got to get back searching through my acumulated numbers compilage.Thanks for your reply wingman

To answer the question of was it for sale on Ebay a few years ago, the answer is no. The F3 green car sold, not exactly sure where to, haven't asked who he sold it to, but I know he parted with the car. And it is also not the car that ChargerAficinado has either, as his is an SE with A/C, plus its bronze.

Would be a good car if restored. I would like it because of the color combo, and the fact that its a 4 speed. Also a plus that its not numbers matching, which means you can play with the car without fear of tearing up the origional motor.

looks legit . when i win a car off of ebay. I've won 5 mopar car auctions in the past.i don't send any money. i write the guy and tell him that i will be leaving in the morning with my trailer to his place . this car is 10 hours away . I'm a truck driver, 10 hours is nothing . i inspect the car ,if it's what he described i pay him. out of 5 cars i refused 2. because the guy misrepresented the cars . that means the contract is void. i can't believe people who blindly send money. i would never do that . i also take my wife and dog with me and make a fun roadtrip out of it . The car is not numbers matching, and he isn't sure if the transmission matches. The car is also F8 green from the factory. Not sure if that changes anyones mind or not, but it is not a B5 blue car from the factory. It was F8 green, 440 4 speed car. Which it is a 4 speed, which is what I want, just not in F8 green. Also heads up, the seller is under the impression he is going to get in the neighborhood of $65-70K for the car as it sits now. I'm not sure what his reserve is, but he says he has been offered $50K for the car and turned it down as he thinks he can get more. He asked me what I would offer him, and I said not half of what you turned down. Just my opinion. It will be a nice car when done, just not worth what he is asking, if you ask me.

Who is dumber? I'm going to say the one who turned it down. The one who offered it, just probably has money to burn, if there was even really anyone who offered it. I mean heck, $75K and I'd seriously think about watching my car drive out of my drive way. That is a lot of money to a person like me.

we tried to sell the house but with this market everybody was low balling us. so we're gonna stick it out here for a couple of years  . till we can get our price .

I'm not too crazy about an F8 green car either, when I thought it was a B5 blue, car I was definately more interested. the more problems he started talking about on the phone with the car, the less and less I wanted to continue to bid on it as well.

I really don't know if there are more F8 green 500's than any other color, as I have information on 33 F8 green Charger 500's, and 37 R4 red cars. However those are the two most popular colors that I've came accross. Next closest color is B5 blue with 16. Then T5 and Y2 both with 10. Nothing else over 10 that I know of anyways.

Ah but remember accroding to the seller, it was worth no less  than $50K.   

I'd say that around the $24K still seems high to me. Call me out of date or not, but I don't personally see that car as more than a $15-18K car. That is just my thoughts.

I agree, without the frame rail issues, maybe $24K. Then again it is still missing the entire interior as well. Not to mention missing the rear window trim. doesn't even have a 440 in it, let alone the #'s motor.

Other than that, its all there.
