  that sure is funny! White or red would be cool. white is higher contrast, but red looks kinda mean...  i like the way some folks come back and post like every seven minutes... LOL!

Brian's "69 looked super cool with the white stripe.

I like the idea of a ghost stripe, but Sam's wanting a "stock" look, so that's kinda right out.

Don't think that was a factory option.  

Go with the white, and throw on a copy, of De Stijl.

I can't believe I'm the first person to point out that the stripe code is on the fender tag... lol

Look under the "S" on the "UBS" part, middle right hand side. That is the stripe code.

An 8 is stripe delete, and 4 is a red stripe, that's about all I know. Some R/Ts didn't have a code under the "S" so I'm not sure whether that meant no stripe, or standard stripe color?

I say (if you don't care about being original) on a black car, leave the stripe off and get the Bullitt effect. Or if you really want a stripe go red. Looks a million times better than white. Black/white color combo cars are just plain and lifeless looking to me.

If the car is black with a black interior, I vote black stripe.

Performance Car Graphics makes them in flat or glossy black.

You state that you have the fender tag. If it was a stripe delete car that would be on the tag.
