finnaly,.. after six mos. of deciding,.. I went ahead and pulled the trigger...  :yesnod:

Brock Samson

it's supposed to be tuned like an Oud,.. but i got it tuned like a 12 string for now,..
I went ahead and purchased a Boss Loop Station to go with it,..

...I had to forgo getting Patron the Pitt Bull Puppy, just yet,.. cause my job is laying off another 100 folks from the newsroom and i may be unemployed and out on a job hunt shortly... and a new puppy probably isn't a good idea just now,...  :-\
anyhow,.. i visit patron everyother day and want him to go to a stable home...  :yesnod:

And Chris G. was right,.. you actually can post four pics at a time!  :shruggy:

I have never seen a fretless 12 string..cool
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

Brock Samson

actually it's an 11 string Oud..
but i ain't that good yet... so i'm starting off simple..
I'm havin to relearn or invent rather a completly new technique... quite the biotch i assure ya'...   :brickwall:

I was also right about you changing your mind about the dog, but never made it public. I would have bet my car on that.  :icon_smile_wink:  :-*

How much does a guitar like that go for? It looks pretty cool.

ps- Atta boy on the multiple pics in one post. You did me proud.

belive me i would love to have the dog but i can't be out pounding the pavment looking for work and take care of a rambunctious bruiser too, i may have to get two jobs to afford to live here,.. besides, i hear there's another family willing to take the guy so i need to think of him and his wefare...
The axe listed on the web site at $1,200 but cause noone would buy it from the store, i got it for $900.oo so i went ahead got the loop station too...
they were really sick of me hangin out there playing that thing and sampling all the latest effects too,.. so the owner (i've known him for 30 years) comes over and says, "Just what will it take to git ya' outta here?."  :icon_smile_wink:

Nice guitar, I gave up trying to learn to play a couple years ago.
I had an old "Eagle Swinger" that my grandpa found in his basement, it never held a tune but it was black with a black pick guard and black pick-ups. It's just a fender knock-off from the 70's or 80's
My bro has a fat-strat.

His whole playing style. I love the fact that he used his classical roots and his heavy metal style and combined them to make the unique sound he had. Its just the way he played and yea, also, I love his guitars that he used too! I got one of his replica guitars but a different colour.
