I recently bought this Charger, and I am now having second thoughts about keeping it.  This is not an offer to sell, but I'm curious to see what you guys and gals think.  There are a couple of reasons on why I want to sell and a couple on why I would like to keep.

Pro's :

I have two '69 R/T SE's, but in reality I could live with just one.
I have an extra Charger in case one were to get stolen or wrecked ( I don't intend to have either as trailer queens, not that there is something wrong with that.)
In the future, they will be even harder to come by not to mention more expensive.
As of right now, I can afford to have both of them.

Con's:

I still need to work on them, which equals more money, but if I were to sell one it would give me money to fix one up quicker than if I were to have two.
Gas prices.
The headache that one may get stolen, wrecked, etc...
Not enough room, though I can store one at my parent's home.

The black one is the one I would sell if I had too.  Let me give you a brief description on it.  The rocker panel near the rear wheel well will need some work since both sides have rot.  One of the quarter panels needs work, the other one is good.  The rear valance will need to be replaced.  There are three very small pin holes on the roof.  The bottom corners of the sail panels have one or two small holes.  The fenders, hood, doors, and body are all good.  There are a few dings here and there throughout the body, but nothing major.  That is about it for the exterior.  The interior is all there, except for the upper passenger door panel.  Seats would have to be re-upholstered, but is all there.  Can't think of anything else.

So what do you think?

Its always up to you, but I decided to only keep one of my 73s as well.  I decided its better to have one nice car than 2 or 3 crappy ones.  If you cant afford to fix them up, might as well sell them and put that money towards your car.

I assume you meant if it is a original XS29... car?  Yes, it is.  But I forgot to mention that it does NOT have the original engine.  It has a 318 in it. :icon_smile_dissapprove:  But I do have another 440 sitting around.

Reason for the 318 is because the gentleman I bought it from told me that his sister was driving it about 5-10 years ago and didn't check the oil.  Apparently it had a leak or something of that nature and as she was driving it, the engine went kapoop.  Yes, the VIN, fender tag, title and all the other goodies check out on it being a real XS.

Reason why I am debating if I should sell or not is because I do not have a good daily driver, as in a car that gets great gas mileage.  In my household we have a 5.9, a 5.3, and whenever I get these two 7.2's running it will be worse.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but does it make a difference if it is blocked off or not?  I just prefer not to show it.  It's just like some people not posting their entire VIN.  After reading somewhere on this site about how some crooks or wiseguys can use it to their advantage, I decided not to post entire VIN's or plates.   :shruggy:

we were talkin about that yesterday,.. what's the problem?..   :scope:

Fernando-  I would try to keep both of them if you can afford to, as I think you will regret it later if you sold one.  1969 RT/SEs are hard to find (I have been looking for Chargers for the past 15 years and have managed to only buy one RT/SE out of the fifteen Chargers that I have owned).  Most people that have them know that they are more special than a "regular" RT and hold onto them much tighter.  Remember, 1969 Chargers tend to be the one everyone always is searching for.  A black 69 RT/SE is definately a keeper in my book.  Is the second one a T3 or a T5?  (I can't tell as I am partially colorblind and they look the same to me.)  Last year, I bought a stripped down T3 69 RT/SE shell (missing vin tag) off of ebay for cheap, because so few decoded the fender tag before it was sold.  I just wish it was a 70 RT/SE as that is one on my "to buy" list......

Completely understandable and I agree. This is a public forum and open to everyone. That includes "unfriendly" people.

X9 is the paint code for black exterior color.  I see it has white interior.  so i was just wondering if the car was and original black car.

Oops!  The car is coded as W1 and F8. <--- I was corrected by a member here on the original post that I had on this car.  If anyone is interested there are a little more pics and the fender tag is decoded.  It is on page 19 of the General Discussion, and is titled, "Need advice ASAP, please!!***FINALLY HOME W/PICS."

Thanks for your input.
