floor hump question

hope this goes here! has anybody installed a 4 speed hump in a 74 B body? I need to know what hump to use as there are 2 types to use or at least this is what I have found. my car has buckets and was informed that the one that fits the B body will not work on cars that have bucket seats and that I must use the E body hump for my car, Is this true? ,,, any help would be appreciated. thanx TK
