My 72 Charger SE came without any headliner. I´ve only got 2 bows.

How can i tell what hedliner I need.. 4 or 6 bows..
Count the mounting holes..? Is it as simple as that..?  :scratchchin:

Thanks

I want to say the 6 bows was a 71 thing but I would wait for one of the 71-72 guys who knows for sure.

hutch

my 73 has 4 bows. if you have the 3 triangle cluster mounting holes to support 6 bows you can get the 6 bow headliner no prob.  I think the 6 bow looks sharper.

Yeah.. got the triangle mouting points. Looked closer today, and there are 6 of them.

But are you telling me that both 4 and 6 bow headliner can be used on my car..?

IMHO I think 4 bows shows a more clean view

I'm a late 72 (June build date I think), 440, 4-speed, Rallye (I love saying that).

Had the headliner replaced, ordered a "72" headliner and bows, and got 4. My car requires 6, so the post above about a changeover in 72 sounds right to me.

Where did you order with bows? Year one shows either 4 or 6 bow liners but did not see bows.

There is only ONE charger in a salvage yard within 100 miles of me so I went out today to look. As I approached the car I said to myself,, "What will I see"  Bending over and looking inside I could see the tattered headliner, As I pulled it away I counted, 1, 2, 3, 4  5 and 6!  I scored a 6 bow set for $25 bucks!!

Also, there was a Sb near buy that had the 4 bow set,

Here is how the 4 bow set goes for reference.

From the front, Hole,s 1, 2, 4, and 6,
