Let me see you column mounted tachs!!!

I want to see mounted. Just got a Z series mini auto meter tach and want to see ho do you mount on column... I want to fit closer as posible to column, between two big opening gauges, but that doesn't look posible!

I can see my speedometer fine except if I go past 80 mph, I have to lean a little to the left to see it.

Here is mine (old picture), now I have orginal set up with the tic tac toc and stuff (tumbwheel radio).

2 5/8 mini tach with my own shift light ( i use an autometer warning light and have my mallory hifire box fire it at a selectable rpm)    i made an extension that puts it up the column a bit. i have the same tach in my 68 satellite and its mounted the same way.

do you have a frontal view like you were looking at cluster on your normal driving position ? wish to know clearance view with the rest of gauges on cluster.

I dont have any pics, but I prefer the aftermarket tach mounted to the bottom side of the dash, just above the console. Its just much easier to get a clean looking job.

went out and took this. i made my extensions out of stainless steel.       good luck with yours!

doesn't look bad!!! will check better when I get on my hands, but doesn't look bad.

However, maybe I can get some clearance problem with seatbelt light and will have to put it below speedo, still attached on column
