Im building a model 69 Charger with a Daytona stripe and Im wondering, when cars came out of the factory, was the frame painted the same colour as the body or was the frame painted black?

chargers are unibody cars ya know. if you want it to look right, go buy a rattle can of rubberized undercoating and spray that on there.

Frame, chassis, underbody whatever lol. Ive seen alot of people paint the bottoms of their Charger model cars the same as the body.

its a model dude. yoiu could paint the underside purple with yellow polka dots for all i care.

I thought undercoating was an option?
Just paint a light coat the color of the car.

Undercarriages were just Primered & what ever exterior paint overspray got on there was it. Only the wheel wells got Undercoated unless you ordered & payed extra for the J55 Option, then the whole undercarriage got undercoated. LEON.
