Wow pretty good turnout even though it was raining. Some very nice cars. I like the flat black early Barracuda.

Well, it's probably not so much my camera as my ability to resize pictures without making all the diagonal lines look like saw blades.

Mine gets driven daily, and it hasn't melted yet.

I usually don't go to shows in the rain.   It isn't because I'm afraid the car will get wet, I just don't care to walk around in the rain all day.

Gotta admit, that was the crappiest weather I've endured for a show.  Most rainy day shows this time of year it only rains for a while off and on, not yesterday, all fricken' day!! :icon_smile_angry:  I didn't get my camera out much.
Curtis, it was an honor talkin' to you and your lovely wife.  We have to do it again.
My little girl scored a nice afgan and box of drinking glasses.  She's my little good luck charm.

The pic of the black Hemi Cuda is actually a AAR car, note the rear quarter antenna.  The owner is the guy that sold the '70 sublime Hemi Challenger @ Barrett Jackson this year.

1. A pic of the 440 that's stuffed in the little Valiant.  It has 17" wheels also.
2-3. This bronzee '68 is owned by the original owners.  Smith Brothers did the restoration.

Brock Samson

that's pretty sweet but the rear looks abit high eh?..  :-\

Thanks for the pictures, Mike. Your pics look much better. I think I shot all mine in less than 60 seconds as I walked down the Mopar row. It was my honor to talk to you too, the celebrity owner of Purple Power! I'm still trying to get over that wisecrack you made after my wife's "brothers" comment though. :icon_smile_big:

Brock, that '68 may have been lifted a bit but I didn't think to ask. Those are Specialty Wheel 15X10 Magnums on the back and I'm not sure what to think of them yet. After seeing them for the first time I was a little surprised how deep the center is. The owner couldn't remember the exact offset but he guessed it to be between 5.125" and 5.250" on the back. What do you think of them, Mike?

That guy told me that Smith Bros. didn't shoot the paint on his car but they basically got it all ready to paint by doing the prep with all the frame-off stuff. He said First Place Finish in Hood River did the paint. He also said that the Smith Bros. don't do any paint anymore. :shruggy:

Brock Samson

as close to the outside as they are i think they had to lift the rear... too bad they cant be tucked up in there a bit...

bull

I'm thinking now about getting 15x8 Magnums instead.

I found the pics in one of my photo albums. I'll scan them on the computer tomorrow after school and I will make a thread to show them.

:iagree:  Wise choice for the rear, you can't go wrong, never a clearance problem anywhere.

That 68 sure looks sweet, I wish I could have seen it in person ''and dry'' they look like 17 or 18in rims
I have not warmed up to them yet myself  :shruggy:  I do think the redlines are cool.

Yea. He said he had to look long and hard for redlines that size.

Don't be so hard on yourself, your pix turned out great.  Guys like me and Dan just take pix from a different perspective, angle.
What on earth did I say, can't remember?  :o  Dan has a buddy up there that has a B5 RR with steelies and big wheels tires out back as well.

I will say that after helping to count votes that there's no funny business going on.  At least with our club.  You could tell who the other car club voters were though I noticed.  They all voted on the same cars and the ballots were together.  Interesting... :scratchchin:.
When we, (my club members) go to other shows we don't copy each other's ballots, at least I never have.
