My brother got me into planes when I was younger! He used to work at an airport in S. Cali. and I had the opportunity to fly in a beautiful Red Bi-Wing named "The Great Lakes." (Among many other planes)  We did aerobatics and had a blast!! :yesnod: Years later, I worked at a small airport in N.Cali.  I fueled planes, helicopters, and even some race cars, when they wanted "Jet A" fuel! The Fall Guy fulfilled my need for flying vehicles after DOH was done. Even as a kid it made much more sense to me to jump 4X4 pickups than '69 Chargers. Markie Post and Heather Thomas were pretty easy on the eyes too.

There's a Charger in the intro too. It's the crash scene from (I think) Dirty Mary Crazy Larry.

How the hell did I forget about Fall Guy?????  That was the greatest and Heather Thomas was the first girl I had sex with........well, sort of....

I can't believe Starsky and Hutch isn't on ANYWHERE now. You'd think it would fit well on Sleuth or TV land!

dkn1997

We all should be ashamed of ourselves for letting it go this far until the Fall Guy was mentioned.

Jumping a pickup truck, markie post, heather thomas, dirty mary crazy larry footage....and that's just the opening theme!!!

anyone else have the heather thomas poster where she's in the pink bikini with her thumb stretching out the bottom so you can see the
"Camel Toad"  (remember that thread?)

and kudos to Lee Majors for being associated with some of the hottest ass of the 70's.  Lindsay wagner, Farah Fawcett, Heather thomas.
Is there anyone cooler than him too?  these other aholes run around playing gay guys in movies and here he is, the bionic man and then a stunt man.

I had the bionic man toy when I was 7, the one in the red running suit from the opening credits.  My brothers and I would jump from bed to bed in our room making the "bionic" sound effects too.

There was a show way back when hopefully the era which you guys are talking about and can help me out.  When i was little my parents would watch a show which the only information i can give is the song of the into, Because thats all i know.  Its Diana Ross and the Supremes, with the song reflections.  I kinda want to point toward a army type sitcom or something, any and all information is appreciated.

Lots of good stuff there.  I loved The Six Million Dollar Man.  They are actually gonna do a series again on the bionic woman with a British actress next year.  Steve Austin was the man!!!!

Not a tv series but the reason I joined the Navy(literally! a little over 20 years ago, I joined the next day))  Became a pilot myself in my spare time.
Retired now(June actually, but on terminal leave now)

I never get tired of this movie and it's theme.  It still makes me get the goose bumps when I watch it.  The funny thing is Miramar was my first duty station and worked in the squadron that was right next door to VF 51 where they used most of the crew to do the flying.  My duty office from VF 124 is actually in a scene or 2 in the movie.

I guess the only criteria for generating hawain character names was that they have to contain the same amount of syllables as the actor playing the part!!

Jack Lord was such a bad ass too.  and they all drove those massive land barges too, every time they came to a stop, the front end would bounce 7 or 8 times.

I still think, as of today, that Hawaii Five-o is the best theme.  It was so innovative.  I still get goose bumps when they do that camera shot that goes into Jack lord.  Really great!!  Oh and the land barges are GREAT!!!!!!!
