ok now i id say the challenger is prolly my 2nd fav car after my charger. so keep that in mind.

the other day my sister called me up and left me a message its really important you have to call me back. now shes only 20 (no no pics lol) and she dont know alot about cars but she likes mopars of corse. anyway she found a 70 challenger rt looks to be a killer ride, dana 60 4 speed 440 everything. its really cheap. guy swears no bondo its a really nice car. black paint too i cant see anyone painting a bondo bucket black.

heres the thing the car was supposidly sold so she let it go. but i got on the guy and apperantly its not sold and i can buy it. i told him yup consider it sold. now the problem of my sister she found the car and i just cant cut her out of the picture im not that kinda brother. so do we

a    sell the car and split the profit
b    try to share it for a while

i thought a at first but since shes only 20 and very tiny i think shell hate the manual steering and not to mention she cant drive a stick. so maybe the opportunity will come to buy her out in the near future.

that would mean either the charger or the challenger would have to stay at my parents house in the car tent cuse i only got one garage :(

i dunno guys what should i do on this one i need advise help a confused mopar brotherian lol ............Mike

Charger-Bodie

pretend to try to sell it and then keep it for yourself :D
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Brightyellow69rtse

wish it was that easy lol. right now im thinking i might try to share it, i dont see her being able to handle the car anyway.(no offense ladies) shes never driven anything like this before. 440 and a 4 speed.......Mike

WheresMyCharger

Sell you Charger to me and by the Challenger with your sister.

Really, dual ownership can be troublesum for a number of reasons.Give her the opportunity to buy the Challenger, if she's in, great, you can help her along the way and she may get outside help too. If not, jump on the car yourself and sell the Charger to me lol.
Have you seen my old '69 Charger??

Are you just buying the Challenger just to flip it?  If so that is just gay!  :Twocents:
I would love to be able to find a killer deal like that, not to profit from but to enjoy.
You asked for it and my opinion is that if you are going to just sell it then you should let the guy sell it to someone that is going to enjoy and like the Mopar. I really can't stand flippers. I am into this Mopar hobby for what it is, a hobby.I am not into the hobby for the money. :icon_smile_tongue:
You should buy the car with your money & enjoy having another Mopar. Then even if you have to throw a tarp over the friggin' thing in the  back yard, at least you have it.

Let her buy it and if she decides its not for her, she can sell it to you.

I think the first thing I'd do, if it's really that great of a deal, is stop farting around on the internet and buy the car. Worry about the rest later.

supserdave

Did she call you to go in halves, or for you to buy it? As was stated, get the car, negotiate later!

Is she in a financial situation to buy a 70 R/T Challenger?  If so I would Discuss your feelings, if she can afford it and really has no interest in the car, she may just let you have it.  If she is not really in a financial possition to buy and keep the car, but is just flipping to earn some money, a finders fee for her could do the trick.  That way she sees a little money and doesn't have to go through the trouble of buying listing and reselling.  The Key is to talk to her, after all it was her find.

Buy it, flip it, and split the profit.

Sharing a car is never good policy (what if she wrecks it?  what if YOU wreck it?).  Nothing wrong with flipping.  If the market is there, why not?

Besides, its a challenger.  They drive like crap anyway!
I ain't got time for pain, the only pain I got time for is the pain i put on fools how don't know what time it is.

dude.  finders fee.  that's normal buisness.  give her 3% of what you pay for it and send her packing.

Does she want to buy/own it? If not maybe you could throw her a little cash or finding it and take her when you go to to shows/cruises with the car...

You go ahead and sell the car for what you bought it.  Me, I'll take advantage of a seller's market and put a few bucks in my pocket.

Brightyellow69rtse

well im gettin it, the whole money situation is complicated its a long story i dont want to get into. realisticly the only way the cars able to be ours is if we do it together. go either we get it together or we dont get it. so 1/2 a chally is better than no chally. worst case if it dosent work out we sell it and make some money, but i dont foresee a problem weve always got along good.........Mike

Hope that works out between you and your sister.  Sounds risky though. People easily get attached to their cars and jelously can arrise--wouldn't want that to happen between relatives.  :Twocents:

Mefirst

I would NOT buy a car together with my brother or sister or any one else for that matter.. -No f..ing way... A deal like that will most certainly lead to a nightmare situation...

Brightyellow69rtse

well guess what i just got i emailed the invoice to bay that was supposidly sent by them and they said its fake :( looks like no chally for me >:( glad i didnt pay the dirt bag. people like that should be hung by their balls and shot...........Mike

Ghoste

Glad for both of you.  Getting ripped off would have been a lot worse than trying to make it right with your sister.
