Hi, I am hoping that somebody may be able to help me. I was eventually planning on purchasing a set of the 15" Goodyear Eagle #1 Nascar White Lettered Street Tires for my Daytona and now that I have decided to do so it turns out that Goodyear has discontinued them. Now the only size they offer is a 225 x 16", they are no longer making any 15" sizes. I was wondering if anyone new of any tire places that may still have them in their warehouse or if anyone even had a good used set that they might sell. I figured that there might be someone that might have went back to the more stock look with redlines or something and may have a decent used set.  :icon_smile_sad:

Thanks in advance.

Hi again nascarxx29, that's the look I was going for. I had planned on going with plain black or matching R6 red wheels with no caps. Your friends car looks great, hopefully I will eventually find some. Do you by chance know what size he went with, I wanted to go bigger than stock but not too big where there will be a rub problem (Especially on the front). Thanks for the help everybody. :icon_smile_cool:

I could call him and ask what size he used. From vintage 78 he had L60s polyglass road huggers. He asked me to find out the metric equivalent. We called tire stores .And there is a website that offered the chart to metric sizes

Thanks again nascarxx29, if you happen to talk to your friend it would nice to know what size he went with. Since I have not been able to find that Goodyear tire I had thought about going with the Dayton brand "Daytona" tire which aslo have the vintage style raised white letters. The only thing is that they may not be available anymore either. Its not like I have to get new tires right now because I have almost new P23570R14 Radial TA's on the stock Road Wheels but I know it would look better with some bigger meats under her.

Again, that is one sharp Daytona. I love that race car look, especially since that's what they were made for.
