I think I have a 904 trans on my 74 sattellite, 318 car.
I have the engine out and trans.
I am going to clean trans but want to get the pan on again before I start.
I would liike to use the reusasble plastic gasket but I don't know what the part number is. Pretty sure the727 is P4286754 but that doesn't help me much.
Anyone know if this is available for the smaller trans and or what the number is?

P 4286754 is the Big Block Steel Shim Cylinder Head Gasket Set — 0.020" Compression Thickness.

I checked in my catalog and can't find it yet.

Thank you for clearing that up. I don't take very good notes but I do have all my reciepts from chrysler.

I know the gasket is here somewhere.

Wihile I am busy murking up my search, maybe I should ask what transmission I have.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

For the hard plastic trans pan gasket on a 904 transmission, use part # 4295875AC. This gasket can be purchased at any Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep dealer and is the hard plastic re-useable kind. This part has a suggested retail price of 13.70 plus tax. Also, if you are interested, their is an updated part # for the 14 screws....part # is 6036330AA and they sell for .45 each plus tax.

Thanks everyone. I called the dodge dealer and they have it in stock. They said it is still quite a common gasket. Who would have known?
