Well, after nearly 5 years !!!!! We have paint......

Well, it FINALLY HAPPENED !!!! my '68 Hemi Charger R/T is finally LL1 Dark turquoise poly again !!!!  ......... As you know, I'm in Iraq, so Ken took these for me...  Now it's time to cut and buff...... Whew !!!!  What a color when new......

WooHooo !!!!!

That's great news, but even this would come in a distant second to the news that you were back home safe...

youre car looks great and not to be a nict picker but you should tell them to get some paint on those roof rails cause some of it will show when its together!
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Yeap, 2:30am here.. But, it's my normal shift..... The day's are ticking away and I'll be home pretty soon !!!!  I can't wait... Supposedly, the car's going to be sitting in my garage when I get home !!!!  :)

You referring to the area where the side window weatherstrip channel screws to the roof rail under the drip trough channel? If so, I see exactly what you're talking about..  I sent a friendly reminder to make sure it's done.. Not sure, but he may already have that planned...

Yes, the car's going to have a white vinyl top. It came with a black top, but I don't remember seeing black paint in that area.. Regardless, I want it to be correct and if that means body color seen, then so be it....... I'll inquire what he's planning on doing.....

This color with white interior will be utterly breath-taking..... I can't WAIT to bolt those new "HEMI" badges on !!!!   :icon_smile_big:

well it should definitely be body color, i was just trying to figure out what the painter may have been thinking.

yes, the car is originally LL1 dark turquoise, white interior.. The only thing I'm changing from original is going with a white vinyl top, not the original black.
