Can a pass seat be changed to be a drivers seat?  In other words, can the release button be flipped.  I have a good pass seat and found another pass seat and was wondering if it would work...

I did it. It wasn't that hard. The seat cores themselves are made universal and have all the components in place to make it work either way. The lever is held on with a lock ring. Remove the lockring from the slug, pull the lever off and install on the opposite side. If you still have the plastic seatbelt clip, you will need to relocate it to the opposite side. The holes are there, just need to be tapped with the self-tapping screws.

Then when all converted, swap the seat tracks and you are done.
