Thanks and Happy Mother's Day to every mom here too.  I went to church with the kids this morning, was going to see the sneak peak of Sherk 3, but it was sold out almost 2 hrs. before it began, so we went to the dollar store instead and got chips and stuff and came home and are watching the NASCAR race that we taped earlier, except I think I'm gonna take a nap soon.....

My wife worked a 16 hour shift at the hospital yesterday.  She got off at 11:30PM.  I had to wake her at 6:20AM so she could make it there by 7:00AM.  After she left for work I made the kids some pancakes, called my Mom and wished her a happy Mother's Day.  My father thought that a Weed-Eater would be a practical present, so I made a trip to the Home Depot.  I'm kinda a jerk so I didn't put a bow on it, but I did clean the yard with it.  That should make her happy. 

     For those of you that agree that I'm an Ass, I also decided it would be cool to throw in some Jerry McGuire style bullshiat.  I went to the store, bought 2 bouquets of flowers.  One was tulips, and the other was some other assorted crap, but it looked pretty and was bigger too.  I decided that it would probably piss of her co-workers if I showed up with two cute kids each carrying a bouquet of flowers for their Mommy, so the basic plan was in place.  I got to the hospital and staged the kids on the elevator so they would be facing the appropriate desk with their bouquets when they reached the proper level.  By some pure stroke of luck, my wife just happened to be standing in just the right spot when the doors opened.  It was perfect.  She may have been too tired at that point to fully appreciate what had just happened, but I'm sure that the jealous women that she works with will have no problem in reminding her just how lucky she is.

   Yup, I'm still an Ass; but I'm HER ASS.

so hubby decided to take me to Bennigan's for dinner...the place was soooooo empty.  It was kinda wierd, but oh well I had a great dinner (would have been better if we didn't have three bratty kids, but who cares--i didn't have to cook or clean up--although I did start cleaning the table for the stupid waitress who never came back to refill our glasses until we were ready to leave).
