I am almost done with my replica from Knight Rider. This is KARR the evil prototype. When this KARR is done, I can go full force with the Charger.  KARR is motor-vated by a 350 Chevy small block, 600 Holley with electric choke,700-R4, 3.73 Borg Warner,  electric fuel pump, Hooker Comp headers,  Holley fuel pressure regulator, professionally balanced driveshaft, Spohn tranny mounts and torque arm, Weiand intake, and a Dynomax muffler with 3' pipes from the cat back. I am going to replace the junky dynomax with a SLP Loudmouth resonator. This car was origianally a Firebird S/E 2.8 v6.

Cool!

But can you make the lower half of the car magically go back & forth between black and gray, just like it does in the episode?

:D

Thank you so much Mike for the compliments! This was KARR before,

i'm gonna show my nerd side.....

Glen A. Larson created Knight Rider. He also created Battlestar Galactica. It is said that the team who built KITT used the computer brain out of a Cylon that was left on earth after the Battlestar Galactia led them to earth in the events on Battlestar 1980.

:patrol:

I hope you used genuine Cylon parts in your car  :punkrocka:

That's what I was thinking, too. ;D Back in the day, those hubcaps usually got tossed really quick, followed shortly by the rims. I can't really remember the last time I'v seen a set on a car. Pretty cool.

Is it hard to steer with that steering wheel?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I'm assuming you used the yellow light bar because F.H.P frowns upon red light bars on non-emergency vehicles
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

Wouldn't be a problem as long as he doesn't have it one and flashing while driving down the road.

BTW:  How well does the Turbo Boost work?

I'm glad someone finally built KARR (Knight Automated Roving Robot).  I'm going to show a little geekiness here too, I've seen every single episode of Kngith Rider at least 4 times.  I thought KARR was the most badass of KITT's oponent's, yes even more badass than Goliath   Looks like a nice smooth application of the Molecular Bondage Shell too ;).

Actually on the show, KARR was fitted with the yellow light bar as opposed to KITT's Red bar.

Awesome car man. Nice work.

Let me ask you a question. I too am a product of the 80's and want to build an 82 TA next after my Chargers. Where in the world do you find a one piece taillight blackout like that? And what do you do about the fuel filler door??

I could be wrong here, but I'm betting it's a one piece tinted lexan plastic. Those were kinda the big thing in the 80's.
