Off goes the Charger to take its place in line at Mike's shop.  Looks like he'll start on it at the end of the summer and he'll be finished in about a year.  I'm so happy I can't even see straight.

I ain't got time for pain, the only pain I got time for is the pain i put on fools how don't know what time it is.

Will you be going a summer without a car then?  Or do you have a backup?

Sure it counts, just not as much as a 70 R/T Charger, in my opinion :Twocents:
1969 Dodge Charger 500 440/727
1970 Challenger convertible 340/727
1970 Plymouth Duster FM3
1974 Dodge Dart /6/904
1983 Plymouth Scamp GT 2.2 Auto
1950 Dodge Pilot house pick up

Cool! So what's it going to be? All original, slightly modified or all the way? What are the plans?

Congrats, that's really cool! I had forgotten how clean it already is (from here), it's gonna be sweet when it's done.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I can lend you an old crusty car until yours gets back. This way you won't feel totally lost & I'll have another space back in my driveway. :D

Good luck.  :2thumbs:

Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

You're gonna let me drive the Roadrunner around 'till my car's done?

Seriously tho...thanks to the well-wishers.  She's getting her front frame rails replaced so its gonna be pretty intensive, but the guy doing the work is an artist (and I don't use that term loosely) who fixes these cars up because he loves 'em so every car that leaves his shop is perfect.  I can tell you that this is gonna put a SERIOUS dent in the wallet.

Big Lebowski

Cool dude, I know what you mean about the dent in the wallet. On my '70 Roadrunner project, we've spent some $$$ We replaced the fenders, doors, qtrs, trunk floor, and the trunk extensions. Now that it's at a paint shop, the real spending begins.
"Let me explain something to you, um i am not Mr. Lebowski, you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the dude, so that's what you call me. That or his dudeness, or duder, or you know, el duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing."
