is it me, or does that look like a 22" rad in a 26" core?  still looks way too good to be in a junkyard, has no real patina on it.

As for the rad.I`m sure thats a 22 in a 22 opening. If there is no a/c or perf axle pgke, you would get the smaller rad.

I'd say only $1,500 US.  That's what I paid for my 69 R/T SE 4 years ago after pulling it from a garage after 20 years.

Or am I out of touch with reality? ??? ???

Definately sounds like a sweet car, the R/T badge on the side looks a little odd though.  Good luck.

70 Charger RT

Magnumcharger.  Nice Charger.  Did you see the ones out at Lawrence Pantician's place (past Gibbons)?  There's a 68 Scat pack charger RT out there that he just picked up from SK.  Vic (his dad) said it will probably go for $25k CAD.  He's also got a 70 XP rust bucket that he just sold to someone.  I seen them both last weekend (May 5, 07) while I was searching for spare parts for my 69 project.

Um... let me think about it for a little bit, but since I'm mentally unstable, might be a while.

Lorne and Vic at Aero-tique.
Been to their place many times. They definately go far and wide to pick up cars for their "collection". At one time, they had a whole line of '68-70 Chargers, and they all were basically intact. Then they started cutting rad supports and tail light panels out of them, and in the process, destroying the quarter panels, trunk floors, frame rails and front inner fenders.
I could never understand the rationale of junking a several-thousand dollar body for a three-hundred dollar part.
They cleaned out a junkyard up here in Cold Lake, and basically stole the two complete '69 Roadrunners I had been eyeballing. Now they are well on their way to being cut up.
I suppose I wouldn't have a problem with the whole situation, if they sold complete cars, instead of whacking them. Or maybe just cut up the wrecks.
Still, it is a facinating place to visit.
