OK wow... as troy said that didn't go as planed. I check that post today and was surprised how that went. Anyways I'm gonna just run down the list and touch on as many of the post in the order they were posted just to keep it simple.

To the soon to be Vampire and the Border Bunny I take no offense.. After all I like to make fun of people and if you're gonna dish it you gotta take it.

For the rest. I'm sure they're not ignorant of what the 2500 Canadians are doing in Afghanistan...

Ron: I hate that town and its no fun at all. Spent 6 months there before I went to Bosnia. I'd be spending 10 months starting in September before going to Afghanistan if I didn't get hired by metro police.. I'll be visiting Ottawa every weekend I'm allowed to leave just to get away from that hole... :D

Magnumcharger: That was along time ago and the course has changed alot. Thanks for the input though...

Mikepmcs: Yes PLQ stands for Primary leadership qualification.  And is needed for promotion To MCpl. The PLQ course is broken up into 6 mods now. Mod 1 is the physical training mod where you learn to run PT, 2 is where you learn to teach courses, 3 is how to run ranges, 4 is all the military law and all that boooooring crap, 5 is.. well I'm not sure what I learned in 5 it was a do on your own portion and was useless. Mod 6 is the field portion where you're expected to lead patrols and assume leadership positions in all the phases of war eg defensive and offensive etc.... Mod 6 is the hardest with some courses having as high as a 50% failure rate..

Back N Black: Ya i figured as much with the sleep... I serve with the Lorn Scots now.. So look for the guys with the hackle

OrangeCrush: Ya its great.. I particularly loved the part where our guys serving along side of yours got bombed by accident.. We do the same things as you and in some respects are better equipped. After all... Your Marines stole our Uniforms recently.....

Rack: Our beer is better.. We actually have (get this concept...) ALCOHOL in ours unlike the overpriced water you drink...

and I think that basicly covered all that...

So if anyone wants to chim in with info on MOD 6 I'd appreciate it. :icon_smile_wink:

YEah I know, Man. I was just bustin' yur chops. Canada is basically USA Jr. anyway (no disrespect was meant out of that). You guys are ok by me. I live on the border of mexico... I'd trade borders any day of the week, and twice on sunday. Lots of drug related crime (mostly murders) going on around here (mostly across the border in mexico, but some of it happens here on the US side).

And I agree about the beer, although I've never drank beer just cuz of the alcohol. The way I drink (or used to drink) I wouldn't be able to last that long in Canada anyway. When I use to go out and party I always ALWAYS had to have a beer in my hand, but at the same time I can't stand warm beer. Solution? Chug 'em down. Problem is you end up drinking 14 beers and it's not even midnight yet. I had to switch to light beer.

Anyway, hope you get your questions answered.

For the slow learners... the other thread was locked for a reason - don't think you can continue it here. (I'm referencing a post you can't see :D)
