The ash tray means it for 71-74 b and e bodies, Nothing really that special. The 70 only console had a place that the seatbelts were stored when not in use.

Well other than the little holes (For a cassette recorder maybe?) It's just like the one in my 73 S/E, so that makes it very special... :D

It does have the little straps though - they are missing so often that most people don't know they exist. Of course It's missing the glove box lock though so that pretty much evens it out.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

well no big I bought front center peace grill nos for a 68 charger for $426, a original tic toc tac for $97, a carter avs for 68 383 $57 and carter avs for 68 440 $28, and i  can't remember what I paid for a simulated wood grain steering wheel from this very nice 69 charger from the east coast because he was able to pick up a nos one and he is from this sit but doesn't realize I bought it from him.....hint he posted hear on this thread......great steering wheel very happy with it............even though its  still waiting for my car to be finished on my 68 :icon_smile_big:

Seatbelts buckles straps are usually broken, but nobody replace them since REALLY are unusefull because buckle belt is hardened with a cover and a reinforcement plate, so never get lost or fall between seat and console. I have seen them NOS and nobody bought, not even me what usually kill for those details, and my console has the holes. Will be nice have them anyway thought.

The holes on front I think they are home made, you still can see the drilling rests, but if they are to cassette player must have the reinforcement metallic plate attached down

Ashtray consoles are usually since 72, but I think they stated to be mounted on last 71 half. 70 and 71 normally have a big hole cut out to buckles storaging

What does make it very special is that its NOT cracked at the shifter opening where just about all of them are.

Ghoste

I think the screw holes at the front are from some kind of owner added accessory.  Didn't the cassette player mount further forward on some kind of special bracket?
