so if i hooked this up right i will now have a solid blue wire running to the positive on the coil and a black wire with a yellow tracer going to the negative side.  also i should now have 3 wires on one side of the ballast ressitor which include 2 blue wires with white tracers and the new light blue wire with a yellow tracer.  thanks

Only NEW wire to coil will be the negative side of coil what is black traced and comes now from ECU instead the one conected that was coming from distribuitor, but the positive lead of coil must be the same existant one you already have what if is the original one, should it be brown coming from ballast.

To take the power to ECU with the blue traced yellow wire you canhook up on same existant blues on ballast, or  also take the power from regulator blue wire, what in fact is the same line. In fact the one of the spliced blue wires from ballast IT IS the regulator one.

Then you will have the wires to elec ditribuitor what are foolproof wires :D
