318 specs q?

i was going to figure the compression on a 318 i have sittin around its mostly stock but the piston to deck im finding
is anywhere between .077 and .097 :o and i can't find combustion chamber cc's anywhere, the casting # is 3769973 i know is a 76 motor
anyone know please  :smilie_help:

Even if anyone knows what size combustion chambers run on 318 head in the 70' heads

The 273/318 heads had a 61-63 cc chamber from 68 to 74.

The 973 casting is an open chamber design used in 75-76.  I'm not sure of the chamber volume on those.

318s from that era run abour 8.5:1 or 9.0:1 compression.  hope that helps
