A Body 4-speed...Differences?

I might be able to get my hands on a cheap 4-speed tranny that fit's mopar A-bodies....I have a '74 and I'm wondering if I could make it work or not...

The short tail and the shifter location make the A body trans a dificult fit in a B body.

It would just be easier to get the correct trans. If its really, really cheap and NOT an OD trans you should think about grabbing it, sell it for a profit and then get what you need, good luck.
