Transmission Reverse Switch

I recently converted from a column shift to floor shift and my reserve lights no longer work.  Also, I can put the car in gear without the key being in ignition - what else to I need to convert to get the reverse lights to work and shifter not engaged until the key in in the ignition?  Any ideas would be appreciated...thanks

sorry car is a 74 motor and tranny are 69 if that makes a difference...thanks

floor shifter cars gear without key in ignition. Is not a fail, simply IT IS on that way

for reverse light, check at NSS switch on tranny if is loosen . Just in case it must be 3 prongs kind
