I recently had some boxes of parts to my 68 charger stolen and in one of them was my brake pedal assy.  My question is, my car had manual brakes, with disc on the front.  I found a 68 in a junkyard but it is a power brake pedal assembly.  I want to keep  the manual brakes, but is the pedal assy the same.  Mainly, is the brake pushrod the same for both power and manual brakes?

The pedal assy is the same.  The pushrod is not.

The power brake setup uses a bellcrank assy where the manual brakes uses just a straight pushrod

So can I use the same assembly and just change the pushrod?

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

No, the other 68 is in very bad shape, I think if you tried to load it, it would break in half.  Just robbing off it what I can to help get some of my parts back.

You don't want to sell that manual push rod, do you?
