Did the stock chrome exhaust tips come with stamped part numbers?

I think someone is attempting to pull the wool over my eyes. I find it hard to believe that the chrome exhaust tips that came stock on 2nd gen Chargers did not come from the factory with part numbers or at least the pentastar stamp -- something to identify them as original Mopar parts. Am I wrong? If I am wrong and they didn't stamp them, how can you tell if they are NOS or even used originals?

Anyone got any pictures of some real Mopar exhaust tips, especially some with identifiable markings??
