The guys over at the Chevy forum aint no help so ill ask you guys.

I gotta a 1984 Rochester Quadra Jet thats running rich.  How do i fix that?
Its no disgrace being poor.  Its just inconvienient.

are the lead plugs inside intact ? cause they can work out and leak fuel into the gine
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

I'll try and find a drawing to scan in but on your q-jet, the idle mixture screws should be on the front of the baseplate on each of the front corners.  They may be covered by a limiter cap.  It's one of those easier to show than describe things.

my dad busted one of the caps off the screw on the drivers side of the carb.  Dont know which screw it is though

If it's on the baseplate over on the corner, it's one of the mixture screws.  There should be another one on the other side.
