It's actually the wing from a 69 GTO.  It took me two years to figure out what car that wing came off of.

I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me the last few years.

Thats a nice chunk of land you have there car matches the scenery  :yesnod:
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

OUCH! That was not nice man! I've been awake for almost 23 hours with only 3 hours of sleep before that and I'm doped up on Vicodin cause my hand got messed up last night.

That was WAAAAY too much yellow! LOL! :P

Car looks awesome though! :2thumbs: I'm so glad the warm weather is back!

Very nice indeed. The later ones are a better Study-in-Charger, but the first one is amazingly sharp for composition. Either remove the stere/markers in the field behind, or make them much more prominant.

But still a very nice shot.

It's weird, I took a pic last year with it sitting in the dandelions, and the color did not match up.  It must be the light on those shots.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I'm wondering if they ever do another dukes movie maybe they can use the colonel as one of the duke boys evil cousins car and it can chase down the general, just like the whole K.I.T.T. vs. K.A.R.R. thing

Awesome car and pics man, I'm curious though. In one of your pics on the link it shows an orange bottom on your trunklid. Did your car used to be orange, or is it another trunk, or what??

It looks awesome though!!

John Schneider knows this car, and I have him on video talking about it.  A couple of the guys in the Dukes fan clubs, have also said, from their conversations together, that he knows the car.  He did ask me why the trunk lid was painted orange, and told me never to convert it.  If John would ever contact me for the car to be used in some sort of cameo role...I'm all for it!! :icon_smile_cool:

Well, even before all the hoopla of the Dukes movies, I had plans of making a General Lee as it was my childhood dream to have a General Lee.  When I was three years old, and watching that orange car fly through the air, I told my parents......"I will have one of those someday".  So the trunk lid was painted 75 Flame Orange to accomodate the cast and stunt crew signatures, but the car has become so popular with people who have seen it on the internet, and with all the Dukes fan clubs, it makes it VERY hard to ever change it.  That's where the name The Colonel came from.  The name stemmed from the color, the horn installed in it, and it is a lower rank then of a General...so hence The Colonel.
