Thanks Again Nick for selling the Charger to me!! I know that you had other serious offers. It truly has been a dream car of mine since I was a punk highschool kid. Talk to ya soon.

Thanks everyone. I am really excited about the car, but also a little bit intimidated. I haven't decided yet what I will do with the car. It is sooo original, it would almost be a shame to restore it. A shiny new paint job and new interior are nice, but I am a sucker for an untouched original. Your thoughts would be appreciated !!

Thats a tough one, my buddy has a 73 Cuda survivor, it has some cracks in the decal and pitting on the bumper, and he gets picked apart at local shows.  He has often thought of having it done, I always told him "I wish I had an original car that nice, you know it will only be original once you can restore it as many times as you like"

The car looks even better in person. It will need the hood repainted for sure and a new vinyl top installed. Seat covers and dashpad, but evrything else is 99% complete and original.

Lumpy, still planning to hang to the Roadrunner as well?  ;D

The car in the garage is Nick's. It's a '71 GTX 440 4spd dana, he decided to keep it over the R/T. I had no idea that he had these cars, he lives two miles from my house. I had a RR last year , 440 4spd, triple black. I sold it last year when we moved from Iowa to AZ. This is my first SERIOUS Mopar that I have owned in over a year. I am Happy !!

And thanks for buying it, I can now move forward to what I need to do.
By the way, you though me for a loop when you said you were glad the pics were not showing the car in its true beauty which gave you a chance to see it.
I am glad it will stay around in the area so I can see it..... Good Luck.....  :icon_smile_big:

I really wanted that car too..71 R/Ts are my fav other than the 68 or 70 R/Ts
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris
