Here are the pre-productions. Some corrections are going to be made, but this is roughly what they will end up looking like.

Um, I am not clear on the relationship with Ertl. There is some changes going on in that company. But the brand is RC2, which atleast was Ertl, and may still be. They are doing new, corrected 1968-1970 Chargers as well that are the best looking scale Chargers to date. They may be doing later Chargers too. Right now the 2nd gen is on the list to wrap up. They wanted to get these out first.

Mr_fixit

NIce, but that sunroof  just doesn't belong there.

1990 Dodge Ram. 360FI My daily ride.

Those look really great! I'll definitely snap up one or two. :)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Those are awesome. Can't wait for the 72 Rallye!!!!

Awesome! I can't wait!  Why would they put a glass sunroof in it?  I would think just leaving a hole in the roof where the sunroof should be would look better.  I have had 4 of them on order from supercar collectlibles for about a year now.

It's still RC2 to my knowledge.

I just got the '69 pre-production diecast in from them last week.  It isn't decorated up as nicely as the 3rd Gen cars you posted pictures of, unfortunately.

Weren't the IIGen versions going to hit the shelves in November??  Hope there's still a little more time left since there are definitely some things that are going to need worked on with this IIGen version anyway.

Those '71s look sweet!

I want a B5 blue one when they come out. I just hope they take the Magnum wheels off for the road wheels. I like the road wheels a lot better on the 3rd gens.

Those are super nice..I would scoop one up...
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

I was given an anticipated October release date on the General Lee's. They have already made the prototype wheels for it (awesome by the way). It is possible they will kick the second generation Chargers off with the General Lee.

Oh yeah I want one too. The only thing I can say is the black vinyl top one, the stripe is crooked. Door needs aligned? The white vinly looks better IMO.

Okay, I'm not taking a stab atcha here Bronze, but where in the hell do you put 30 1/18 scale models, plus all those other smaller scale ones we saw last month? Do you have to rent garage space? But really, I'm a 38-year-old kid and when I see the 1/18 68, I'll shell out the clams...I might buy two so I can screw it up...ahem - render it to look like my 1:1 scale moneypit...

Ramit - that's very forward-thinking, they coulda've saved probably a million dollars in parts and labor if they woulda've just left a hole. Damn the rain!

NIce, but that sunroof  just doesn't belong there.

I agree... Also, you could not get Hide-aways with the Elastomeric bumpers.  It just doesn't look right.

Still, I'll buy a couple anyway. :icon_smile_big:

Hmmm, a set of rear window louvers would look cool on it too.  :icon_smile_big:  And as for Cody having 30 of 'em, all I can say is that it doesn't take long.  My big problem is trying to decide which 4 to have out on display.   Most of mine (less than 30 I think) sit in storage.
