my stepdad took several shots of this Apache taking off at the Smoky Hills ANG open house. I got the whole thing on video too.

the wife and i were dressed up as the "cat in the hat" with our golf cart for a local parade. we actually got a second place trophy. :2thumbs:

Yeah, I hear ya, I just really liked the deco style of that ornament.  I just had it printed up and it was fresh in my mind.  Here's another pic though...

I posted this in my Maine thread a couple of weeks back, but just finished cleaning it up and editing those pics.  It looks much better now IMO...

Yes, I am an artist by training, although I hold a different day job. I make a little extra cash on the side doing portrait and automotive work, among other things.

Have a fascination with macro-photography, and also watches.

Pic is of the movement of a 1941 Hamilton U.S. Military GCT (Greenwich Civilian Time) navigation watch.

Always wonder what kind of missions this thing was used on.
