You can find most of my pics on my facebook profile if you are "added" as a friend. I have way too many pictures up there. Here are a couple from yesterday.

First is a neat old snow removal vehicle Id never seen before.

Second is the highway I was traveling on. Saw a couple road construction "Be Prepared to Stop" sort of signs and came around a corner to find half the highway just GONE! Sorry for the bad pic had to take it while driving past. Those concrete barriers are only inches from the edge of the dropoff where one lane of highway used to be.

Next two are from a historical location here in BC! If anyone can guess I'll give them a virtual beer!

Those last two almost look like kite boarding in the Columbia gorge. Except we don't have barge's that look like that.
Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

This had to have been done in the dark and the trees above are all that is there to hook some sort of rope to. The area behind those trees is a gated community. This was done about 2 months ago. It's still shining brightly.

I have seen this guys tags around Newark Airport as well. He's got some serious rocks, that's for sure.

mikepmcs

They'll catch em' soon enough when the rope breaks and then, well...he/she breaks too.  No reason for that stuff whatsoever. :rotz:

A little lot I found in Livingston, Texas..Had a sign asking to save the American classic.
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

third pic is a '57 Desoto, they were awesome cars, paced the indy 500, had an optional clock in the steering wheel hub and an underdash record player,.. see a full report on them in this months Collectable Automobile.  :yesnod:

A bunch of friends and I were out at 10 Mile Lake just outside of the small city of Quesnel when I heard what sounded like a helicopter flying inbound. Something sounded off about it, not only did it sound really low, but the pitch was different that the normal Bell helicopters you always see. Well a pair of these came low overhead flying in formation. They went over the lake and continued north towards Prince George.

Photos of Scotty's Castle in the middle of Death Valley Desert.  Note the absolutely huge swiming pool that was never quite completed and the literally thousands of railroad ties that were used as firewood in the house.

I thought he was going to say "Beam me Up!"

Here are a few more pictures of Scotty's Castle.  This place is absolutely amazing.  It had a solar heating system for hot water - had to be one of the first ever made.  I am attaching a photo of what remains of the solar panels and hot water storage tank.  If you ever get the chance to take the tour, it is well worth your time.  The swimming pool that was never quite completed was going to be huge!!
