Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Leon, no real secret, just fooling around with different programs is all.  Type in High Dynamic Range in your search engine. :2thumbs:
Truth is I keep about 2-3 pictures out of every 200-300 I take. Most everything I take I don't quite like for some reason or another.
But everyone's tastes are different so what I like you may not etc... Bottom line is, it's all art and it's all good.

We took our son to the park this weekend and in the distance i saw this mushroom. i've never seen one get this tall before. it had to be over a foot.

Cought this snake while digging in a Dump  :o :o  Was at least as long as me, maybe bigger so about 7" probably. I put him on the trail & when we turned around a few minutes later could not find him. Ends up he climbed up this Tree. LEON.

Went to the Walkway over the Hudson which opened yesterday (in the rain).   (info: www.walkway.org ).

Took a bunch of pics but I dig the 2 panarama shots I took with the HX1 from the middle of the walkway.

It is built on top of the 1888 Poughkeepside RR bridge which spans from Poughkeepsie to Highland NY.   Now the longest pedestrian bridge in the country... maybe the world ( need to fact check ).   Height 212 feet over the Hudson river.

1st is looking north up the Hudson,   2nd is looking south past the FDR bridge.
