Why did you choose your userID and do you use it on other forums?

Just wondering about most other people. I came up with mine because it was for turbobuick forums and at the time I had a 1985 buick Gn that I put a 87 gn motor in. The 86-87 gn's were considered cold air because of the intercooler. It was easy to remember so I use it on the other forums I am in.

I use mine because it's mine and the wife's initials and the year we got married.  I use it everywhere for every ID I have.
I figure people will figure out who you are anyway by sig pics, the way you write, etc...so why not just be open about it.

Mine is because...well, I like Chargers.
I use it most places, even a couple Ferd sites. On the Garage Junky site, I just use "C F", because I signed up after 'Dodge Charger Fan' did & thought it would be too confusing to have two Charger Fans on that site. Here, there's about 5 different variations of Charger Fans for some odd reason.

There's usually never a problem having to explain what "Old Moparz" means, except that one forum I go to that's mostly women devoted to hand made, silk, g-strings.

My first ID was 69SE383back when I first joined and it was used on everything but Crownvic.net where I was rwd4life.

When I sold my '69 and bought my Hemi orange '70 R/T, I decided Orange Crush was a more appropriate name because I had wanted that particular '70 R/T since I was 16 and finally bought it at 33.  Orange crush is what I use in all the forums except Allpar where I'm still 69se383 and Scatpack where I can't figure out how to change my username.

I still go by Dodge_Charger_Guy on  2 other forums yet, and use CNT800 on the truck picture forum I am on. And on 2 others, I use my name Peter_B.

Well Manfred came about in high school. One moring some friends and I were hanging out in the parking lot at school listening to the radio in my truck when Manfred Mann's "Blinded by the Light" came on I started singing along as loud as I could. We all got a good laugh and from that day on they started calling me Manfred. As for the 318 well my car is a 318 so I just stuck the two togather. This is the only forum I am a member of so no I dont use it on any other, but it is my Youtube ID.

WELL,   I would like to say I was being thoughtful or having some great insight, but the truth is......Its my first Mopar, and I spent literally 12 hours of computer time a week for about 8 months surfing and searching everywhere on the internet,  before I located the one I liked and bought it. As luck would have it its a Yellow 1968 Dodge Charger R/T Clone....I thought I was being kinda funny in my naming as it is exactly what I own.   Oh well, the simplest reasosn sometimes are the best.....My e-mail address says it all too CHARGERNUT@VERIZON.NET....Aint it cool!!!!

I joined the first forum years ago, before i had a charger... i was helping a friend with his car and was looking for my own and so being a member of the forum made since. since i didn't have a charger i just used my name Nik. then when D-C died, and i found this site, i had to make a new screen name. so I used my nick-name from highschool Sir_Nik-O-Lot (because i had this friend... he was the whitest white guy, but he was the most getto kid in school and he always called me Sir_Nik-O-Lot) so i took that name and added 73 for the year of my car. I don't use this name on any other forum... but on the mercedes forums i'm on i'm SirNik84 (because the mercedes is an 84)
and on the toyota forum i'm on i'm SirNik83 (toyota is an 83)
