Primary/Secondary Throttle Blade Adjustment

How much of the transfer slot should I uncover on both the primary and secondary? I think the secondary blades are too far closed at the moment because I have to turn the idle mix screws out 3 turns to get it not to bog down when I give it any pedal.

Engine specs:
383 .030 over
.510 292 cam
Holley 750 vac. secondary
Eddy performer intake

I'm not sure if they should be set differently for an engine thats been "done up" or not.

Could be a number of reasons it's bogging, ie: shooters , pump cam , power valve , ignition timing......................

The primary transition slot should be exposed around 20 thou , I would set the seconary slot the same , bearing in mind yer engine specs.
