Well, I've known about this car for about tree years. I was unsure if there really was a car in this old broken down garage. A local car dealer told me about it, he took me over to the house and said to go up and ask if they were willing to sell their car.A woman opened the door, her reply was don't even ask because its not for sale, can I come back later, won't do you any good. Offer to leave my phone number, she said no thanks. Well I thanked her for her time and left. I watch the garage slowly cumble on top of were this car was sopposed to be. very sad for me because a would really love to have a 71 RT. Today I drive by to see if the owner was out, no, but a dumpster was there and someone is removing the old garage. and there set a brown 71 rt. took some pictures. hopefully I can save this one

what a shame.

Since she's a pack rat and wont sell go steal that right tail light  :yesnod: What!? She wont do anything with it anyway.
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

:scratchchin:... it would make a nice parts car tho  :D

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

I bet you 100$ that the only reason he's removing the crap on top of that car is he saw an episode of the BJ auctions...Otherwise that car would have sat there and turned to dust..If he cared about it he wouldn't have let that damn garage fall on it. :flame:  :rotz:

My son and I went back to see if the owner was out cleaning up that mess,  no but two other guys were there checking it out. We talked to them alittle while, they decided to go ask if it for sale. owner came to the door,NO ITS NOT FOR SALE and walked away. We waited around to see what happen, the look on their faces. One guy looked at the car closely, said to roof was crushed, windshield broken, couldn't tell which hood it has, if it 4Sp or not.  Doesn't have dual cutouts on the rear valance. Properly no worth saving but should yield some good parts.I'll try to go back latter and get more pictures after its uncovered more.T5 you can use the pictures if you like.
