Can someone refresh my memory as to where the axle ratio tag and sure grip tag go on the studs for the carrier?  I remember somewhere around the 10 and 2 o clock position but cant remember which goes on which side. :brickwall:

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Shakey.  I knew I could always count on you for your pictures of your car.   :icon_smile_wink:  I thought that is where they went but before I put it on and scratched up the nuts for the carrier, I wanted to make sure.

PS- Is your car under its own power yet?  Cause it is looking mighty purty under the car.  I can't wait to see the rest of it.

I haven't been out to visit the car for a few weeks and unfortunately, I won't be out there this weekend either.

At this point, I am working on the dash, which I have out, primed and ready for paint and once I get the dash frame in, I can then install the brake pedal which will allow me to install the brake booster & master cylinder.  Then I can install my new battery cables, headlight vacuum lines and some other odds and ends on the firewall.  I then can start working on getting the front brake hoses made.  I am also working on the shifter and linkage, just waiting for my parcel from the guy a couple of posts up for some goodies to complete the job.  I will also be able to install my parking brake pedal and the new cables, as well as my speedo cable and transmission wiring harness.  I'm dying to get out there as I have boxes of new and restored parts to be installed and I just can't find the time.   :rotz:

When I can start the car and have the brakes working I will farm it out for the vinyl top and headliner installation.  When it comes home, I can then start with interior.

Not sure if it will see the road this summer, but...... ::)

I know what you mean.  It all takes time.  I just got my bottom part of the inside of the doors painted the correct white interior color and while I had the door panel apart, I had a paintless dent repair company come out and take care of a small dimple under my driverside door handle.  He also did 3 other dents on my dads F150 and his 70 El camino.  He was there for just over 3 hrs and only charged $300.  You can not even tell that there was a dimple or dent where it was he is that good!  And better yet, he comes to you!  I am now in the process of trying to get the correct upper shock bushing in on my front shocks that I got from Bill Alphin and ended up stripping the threads on the top part of the shock.  A quick call to Summit has two more KYB shocks on the way to me and should be here in 2-3 days.  Hopefully I will have it ready for the first show that is coming up a week from Sunday at a local Dodge dealership.

Mike,

Is that a 742 case you have?  That large 2 throws me off a mine has a large 9 where your 2 is.
