What's Your Favorite Existing Charger?

If money wasn't a factor, what one existing (or existing at one time) charger would be your choice?  Here's my choice, a 69 f6 hemi charger which I believe is a four speed.   Please note, your choices are limited to actual existing vehicles or vehicles that were actually built.   Does anybody know more about this particular car?  Was it owned by Otis Chandler at one point?

Mine would have to be a 71Charger RT Hemi car with 4sp with all the available options any collor but green! not that I would turn it down , or a Daytona 440 six pack 4sp.

I play with cars because Jets are way too serious to be fun any more
I have so many car projects that cars are beginning to be no fun any more

You're not playing by the rules...   :icon_smile_big:

...I want to know what your ultimate "existing" charger is.  What's wrong with green?   I bet Shakey likes this one...

If money wasn't a factor, I would ask 1hot68 what it would take to buy his car  :drool5:
That thing was done right.

You're correct Dave - I do like that car.  Honestly, when I was shopping for a Charger, the colour of any car, never really concerned me.  When I did spy the one I bought, I thought about the green and wasn't quite sure about it.  After a few minutes, it started to grow on me.

Here is another photo, I'm gonna guess it's the same car.

I always liked Jet's car also and this other burgundy one out of CO.

RT DAVE

Thanks for the pic.  It's either the same car or somebody put the same "f6 hemi" cali plate on it...   Is your car a four speed?

To put it bluntly, I'd talk to Mike and make a SERIOUS run at Mr Angry! To ME that is the coolest Charger I have ever seen. FAILING THAT, Probably the black 4 speed Hemi Daytona that used to be here in Huntsville Alabama. Most any Hemi wing car would be great but I particularly LOVE black ones and since they never built a black Superbird, then the choice would be really limited!

A 1968 Black on black R/T 440 4-speed without the vinyl top and a dana 60 meltin' the tires. I don't know if they made 'em without vinyl tops though..I'm a newb :(

Second choice? Black on white with a white stripe.

but..yeah, i want a 440, not a hemi..call me weird  :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

Is that mountain lion a theft deterrent option?  Kinda like a trunk monkey?

I have the magazine article on that one. Its one of 4 with something but with more options its one of one.
Even though it doesnt exist I would like a 1969 Copper Charger Daytona with a black stripe.black vinyl roof, sunroof, dog dishes, and a four speed and one of those Heemy engines.

Gimme Wayne Wooten's real General Lee.

It was the primary 1969 "closeup" car from the old TV series with the detailed engine bay & interior.  It was used from about season #3 onwards, and it still looks almost exactly like did at the end of the series today.

It's easily the car with the most up-close screen time of all the GLs they ever had.  It was also one of the very few cars to go through "updates" of the GL details, so it wore both styles of pushbars & a couple different interior colors.

472 R/T SE

We think alike Grant, that is the first car I thought of albeit the 4 gear.  2nd choice would be my colors with the same options.

BB1

Mine too, but with a 528 Hemi. Hmmmm one day...  :D

The owner of that Charger actually owns that Lion. :o I think he has a couple.

I got a few favorites, but I would have to divide them up by engine size. It's all about factory options and rarity with me. It's easy to do something custom, but to impress people with something from the factory is not an easy task.

This Charger below is definitely one of my top 3 of all time, and it's unrestored.  :yesnod:
Factory Items:
Hemi
Black paint
Gator Grain top
Red Longitude stripe
Burnt Orange interior
Sill mouldings
Luggage rack
Dual mirrors
Hood pins
Tic-Toc-Tach
Power windows
Am 8-Track
Hood blackout
and my favorite...built for Canada. ;)
