hi - has anybody ever taken this unit apart??  are there any replacement parts available??  mine is a little rusted so i am taking it apart to place into ZEP rust removal liquid.  that stuff works great.  i guess i need to be careful when i remove the internal electronics.  thanks for any  help!

As far as I know the cruise servos are not rebuildable.

That type of cruise servo was used well into the 80's. If you aren't concerned with "correct" appearance, just snag one off a Fifth Avenue. They're cheap and plentiful. The later ones have plastic housings.

The mounting brackets do vary somewhat, so you might have to due some adapting.
