OK so this has NOTHING to do with mopars at all, but at the Spring Fling (in Van Nuys, Ca) Jay Leno stopped by (on Sunday around 11am for those of you who were there and say bullsh**).  He came with his tank/rocket looking vehicle.  I must say that it is so weird.  I have never ever seen anything like that before.  I didn't have my camera at the time and my eight year wouldn't let me go back to our swap spot to get it because she didn't want daddy to get to see the car.  But Jay seemed a little stuck up in my opinion...he did take pics with some people and signed the Dart that is being given away at the so cal shootout, but he got a little snippy when he tried to leave and people were all still standing around the vehicle...well, what did he expect when he brought that to the show?  If he wanted to come and go without a huge fuss then he should have brought a low profile vehicle instead.  IMO.  Anyway.....

I've talked with Jay Leno a couple times. In case anyone doubts he was on the board of trustees for the auto restoration department at McPherson College where I graduated. I left him a message once asking him to come to McPherson for our car show, and he actually called me back. seemed like a real nice guy to me.

I dont think leno owns a low profile vehicle....hahaha

Perhaps he had other engagements but squeezed some time in to go to the show? I could imagine being frustrated and I'm sure it's happened to him before. However, I'd say it was nicer of him to show up and leave than it would have been for him to stay home or drive a different car. I'd have been pretty happy to see just about any of his cars even for a few moments.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

The funny thing about Jay is when you see him on TV he seems down to earth, but when the cameras aren;t rolling he can be stuck up.  I can't believe he calls himself a car collector.  He doesn't have a charger, but he has a chevy s10
